A massive 43-19 first-quarter start from the Lakers and a 14-point quarter from James gave Los Angeles an insurmountable lead over Toronto.
The Lakers claimed their first road victory of the year with the win.
Los Angeles led 76-51 at the half.
Toronto trimmed the Los Angeles lead to 104-98 in the fourth, but after a pair of Max Christie free throws and consecutive three-pointers by Rui Hachimura, the Lakers extended their lead to double-digits.
Austin Reaves scored 20 points and six assists, and D’Angelo Russell had 19 points and six assists.
Toronto’s RJ Barrett had a season-high 33 points and a career-high 12 assists. Gradey Dick scored a career-high 31 points, and Jakob Poeltl had 19 points and 12 rebounds.
