Devin Booker gets praise from Stephen Curry and Team USA stars for role en route to winning gold medal at Paris Olympics.
Team USA stars Stephen Curry and others laud Devin Booker at Paris Olympics
The Team USA men’s basketball contingent at the Paris Olympics was made up of elite superstars—players who excel with their own teams and carry the egos to match. However, those egos were set aside when the 12 players donned the stars and stripes and got to work. They developed a chemistry that has been evident even in their social media posts. A new clip shows Stephen Curry, Devin Booker, and other stars displaying that chemistry.
Curry’s heroics were one of the main reasons for the gold medal win. However, the players decided to talk about one of the unsung heroes through their banter. Anthony Edwards started the conversation as captured by Booker’s Handy Cam;
Anthony Edwards: “Book out there goin like that, what got into you lightskin ah n*gga.”
Steph Curry: “What Kuz say? What Kuz Say?”
The whole locker room: “I’ll do it.”

To this everyone responded, “I’ll do it.”
This last comment was ironic as it relates to Kyle Kuzma‘s post last year asking for someone to take on the role of the role player. Devin Booker himself had replied back to that post with those exact three words.
The fact that the youngest star in their group, Edwards, led the appreciation shows that he respects Booker. So did all of the older veterans such as LeBron James, Kevin Durant and others. It was a commendable act, as all of them are direct rivals to the Phoenix Suns superstar.
