Video: Tom Brady Explains Evolution of His Signature, Reveals Hidden Message

Legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady gave the inside scoop this week on how his autograph has changed over the years and what Easter egg he includes in his current signature.

While looking at some of his autographed cards from over the years at Fanatics Fest in New York City on Friday, Brady broke down the evolution of his signature:

Brady divulged that his original autograph was a result of wanting to sign his name in the same way his father does.

Flash forward to the present day, and Brady revealed that his current autograph features a “B” that is comprised of a “1” and a “2.”

Of course, Brady wore jersey No. 12 throughout his illustrious 23-year playing career with the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and he has found a way to incorporate his number into his signature.

The 47-year-old Brady is arguably the greatest player in NFL history, making his autograph one of the most desirable in all of sports.

Over the course of his nearly quarter-century-long NFL career, Brady was a 15-time Pro Bowler, three-time First Team All-Pro, three-time NFL MVP, seven-time Super Bowl champion and five-time Super Bowl MVP.

Brady also ranks first in NFL history in completions (7,753), passing yardage (89,214) and passing touchdowns (649).

He is now set to embark on the next phase of his career in the world of football, as Brady will be Fox’s top color commentator for its NFL coverage during the 2024 season.
