It’s been a busy week for the Brady-Bündchen family! Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen’s kids Vivian and Benjamin both celebrated their birthdays and got sweet birthday tributes from their dad. And while Brady had nothing but adoring things to say about his “forever baby girl” in his post celebrating her 12th birthday, we instantly noticed some subtle shade thrown into his son Benny’s tribute. Luckily, it wasn’t toward the birthday boy himself.
“I’m so proud of the young man you are … You’re a student, artist, athlete, musician, and teammate … but most of all you’re the best brother and son anyone could ask for,” Brady wrote to his middle child.
And that sounds incredibly nice … until you remember Tom Brady has another son. The twice-retired quarterback shares 17-year-old son Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan, and if I were Jack, I’d be feeling some type of way about the “best son” comment.
Which has us wondering: Are things rocky between the NFL legend and his eldest? Did he somehow forget his lookalike even while posting pictures of him alongside Benny? Or did he forget what “best” means just like he forgot what “bittersweet” meant after his Netflix roast?
Hopefully Jack has a thick skin and enough love for his little brother that he didn’t see it as a snub – or just glazed over it.
Brady continued, “You pour so much into everything you do, and it shows in the way you inspire others around you.”
“Thanks for always making us laugh … Even when you’re not supposed to! 😂,” he said, making us wonder what goes on in Brady’s Florida home. “I can’t wait to see all the great things you’ll continue to achieve. Dad loves you sooooooooo much!”

Brady’s sons – the “best” one and … ya know … the other one – made headlines in June when they joined their father and sister at his Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The pair towered over their sister in photos where she had to raise her arms above her head to wrap them around her siblings’ shoulders. And is it really any wonder the teens are so tall? Their dad is 6’4″ tall. And with Bündchen standing at 5’11”, we have to wonder if Vivi has a growth spurt in her future.
Last month, Brady opened up about how he’s “screwed up a lot” as a dad and how he and his kids will get through things together. “There’s a lot of challenges I faced as a kid … my kids naturally are gonna be faced with their own challenges, and they gotta figure out how to overcome them,” he said. “I’ll be there to support them and I’ll be learning along the way with them.”
