The Week 9 slate of games in the NFL was one of the more entertaining that we’ve seen all year, with overtime games between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins, and Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams.
On top of that, we also got a highlight play that will live on for years from Philadelphia Eagles RB Saquon Barkley, who hurdled a defender backward.
With all of the action, it wasn’t hard for legendary QB and Fox Sports analyst Tom Brady to go through the action and pick out his best players from the week.
It’s no surprise that Barkley was the top star of the week for Brady. It could have been for his highlight reel play alone, but Barkley added 27 rushes for 159 yards and a TD, plus 3 catches for 40 yards and another score.
Brady also highlighted Cincinnati Bengals defender Trey Hendrickson, who had a career day against the Las Vegas Raiders, racking up four sacks and a forced fumble in the win.
Lastly, Brady highlighted Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson or his big game in the blowout win over the Denver Broncos. Jackson completed 16-of-19 passes for 280 yards and 3 touchdowns, adding yet another key piece to his MVP candidacy this season.
Both Hendrickson and Jackson have a massive game upcoming this week, facing each other on Thursday Night Football as the Ravens and Bengals square off.
