Terry Bradshaw cuts Tom Brady off as he’s made ‘sick to his stomach’ on FOX NFL Sunday

FOX NFL Sunday analyst Terry Bradshaw hilariously cut off Tom Brady when the seven-time Super Bowl winner poured his heart out to former teammate Rob Gronkowski.

Brady had just finished calling the game between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the San Francisco 49ers, which saw the Niners snatch a late 23-20 victory after kicker Jake Moody scored a walk-off field goal. San Francisco dominated the Bucs in total yards but was made to pay when Moody missed two field goals earlier in the game.

However, the Niners were bailed out by tight end George Kittle who caught an 11-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Brock Purdy with 7:02 remaining on the game clock, as he found space right in the corner of the end zone. Kittle is enjoying a stunning season and scored his seventh touchdown of the year on Sunday, and FOX began discussing his relationship with Purdy.

Brady then joined the broadcast from Raymond James Stadium but couldn’t help but remind fans just how devastating his connection was with Gronkowski throughout his career. It was a moment of bromance between the pair until Bradshaw claimed it was making him feel sick.

“Hey, I had the best tight end in the history of football in my boy Gronk sitting right there,” Brady said on FOX. “All those big-time moments I was looking for him and Purdy is doing the same thing with Kittle. In those moments, he bought a little time in the pocket and then rolled left.

“And George, because he’s got that size, he’s kind of laid that ball up in the air and really good judgment by Kittle on the sideline to catch it and keep those feet in. Monster play. Wasn’t quite the game-winner, but it went a long way.”

Bradshaw then interrupted Brady and said with a smile: “Tom, I gotta cut you off, this love fest is making me sick to my stomach. I think Gronk set you up, you had a little talk before this.”

However, Bradshaw then showed respect to his fellow NFL legend and started reminiscing about Super Bowl LI when Brady and the New England Patriots came from 28-3 down to win in overtime against the Atlanta Falcons. “I was impressed. I remember the Super Bowl in Houston when you drove the team back down to send it to overtime,” Bradshaw added.

“You were always so great with two minutes left in the game. Clutch, my friend. Today I saw a little bit of Brady in Purdy. Not quite the arm you had.”

Purdy was the very last pick of the 2022 NFL Draft but has become the starting quarterback for the Niners after guiding them to the NFC Championship game and Super Bowl LVIII in his first two seasons. Purdy is yet to go all the way with San Francisco, but the third-year quarterback has already had a greater impact than many fans expected from his NFL career.
