Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry and Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James celebrated together after Team USA’s gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James led Team USA to a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Opponents for many years, the two all-time greats teamed up for the summer to win gold.
James won MVP at the Olympics, leading Team USA in assists (51) and rebounds (41) while finishing just narrowly behind Curry for the team lead in points. Curry’s 89 points ranked seventh at the Olympics, but 60 of those came in the final two games.
Not only did Curry and James lead Team USA in major statistical categories, but they came through in the clutch when it mattered most.
With this being likely the final time James and Curry will be teammates, the two stars celebrated accordingly after their gold medal.
Seen together at a Paris Olympics party wearing their gold medals, James and Curry have been going viral for this picture:

Curry and James faced off in the NBA Finals each year from 2015 to 2018. The Warriors won three of those titles (2015, 2017, 2018), while James and the Cleveland Cavaliers erased a 3-1 deficit to win in 2016.
