Sixers legendary guard Allen Iverson gives his all-time starting lineup

The NBA is full of iconic players who have had an impact on NBA history and are able to etch their names in the lore of the league. The Philadelphia 76ers have a legendary guard, Allen Iverson, who is one of those players.

Iverson–stood at just 6 feet tall–went toe-to-toe with the giants of the NBA and scored with ease. He won the MVP award in 2001 when he subsequently guided the Sixers to their last finals appearance and even handed the Los Angeles Lakers–led by Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant at the time–a loss in Game 1 of that series on the road.

Iverson’s impact on the league is well-known and his opinion holds a lot of weight in the history of the game. The Answer hopped on “The Big Podcast” and gave his all-time starting lineup:

Steph (Curry), Kobe, Mike (Michael Jordan), LeBron (James), and Diesel (O’Neal).

O’Neal wanted Iverson to include himself in the starting lineup, but he couldn’t do it.

Iverson and Bryant had such a fierce rivalry and a competitive relationship during their battles on the floor. Shaq and Kobe got the best of Iverson in 2001, but they have a real respect for what he was able to do for the Sixers and the league.
