Steph Curry led the Golden State Warriors to a dominant win over the Portland Trail Blazers in their season opener on Wednesday night. The Warriors topped the Trail Blazers 140-104 and saw a double-double effort from their two-time MVP.
On Thursday afternoon, Curry shared an Instagram post of some snapshots from the game.
Steph Curry’s wife, Ayesha Curry, left a supportive comment on his post as he enters his 16th NBA season.

“So proud of you my baby,” Ayesha Curry commented on her husband’s post.
Steph Curry and Ayesha Curry got married back in 2011, following the 10-time All-Star’s second season in the NBA. Fast forward four NBA championships and two MVP awards later for the future Hall of Famer, and Curry is now into his 16th season in the league. Together, the Currys have four kids: Riley, Ryan, Canon and Caius.
In the season opener, Curry showed he’s still got it.

Curry led the Warriors with a near-triple-double effort in the season opener. In 25 minutes, he notched 17 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds on 4-of-10 shooting, connecting on 3-of-7 attempts from 3-point range.
Curry had the highest plus-minus among Golden State starters (+23) and the third-highest on the team in their opening game. The NBA’s greatest shooter notched his sixth performance with 10-plus assists without a turnover in his career.
With a strong offseason addition in Buddy Hield, the Warriors have elevated expectations after missing the playoffs in 2023-24. Golden State traded for Hield just two days after losing Klay Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks in free agency.
The Warriors used their depth to their advantage in the season-opening win, running a 12-man lineup with each player logging at least five minutes. Seven of Golden State’s 12 players in rotation scored in double-figures, showing the value of a deepened reserve unit.
Curry and the Golden State Warriors will be back on the floor on Friday to take on the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City.
