Bulls legend Dennis Rodman’s son to participate in Clippers’ summer league camp

Adefensive savant, there is yet to be a player like Dennis Rodman, who wasn’t the ideal NBA role model. However, the five-time champion did bring something to the table, as evidenced by the likes of Michael Jordan and Isaiah Thomas wanting the 6-foot-7 forward by their side.

Widely regarded as the greatest rebounder in NBA history, Rodman played fourteen seasons in the league, with a resume boasting five titles, two DPOYs, and eight All-NBA defensive team selections. Nevertheless, the Rodman lineage is set to continue with the Hall of Famer’s son, Dennis Rodman Jr., preparing to go pro as he attends the LA Clippers’ summer league camp.

A look at DJ Rodman’s collegiate basketball career

Born in Newport Beach California, Dennis Rodman Jr. aka DJ Rodman is the son of Dennis Rodman and Michelle Moyer. Standing at 6-feet-6, the second-gen Rodman played four seasons with the Washington State before his transfer to USC Trojans in 2023.

DJ averaged 6.1 PPG and 4.2 RPG on 41.1% shooting from the field in his five seasons at the NCAA level. A chip from the old block, the 23-year-old did a lot of the dirty work like hustling for the loose ball, putting your body on the line, and rebounding. As time passed, the US Trojans player would impress with his ability to shoot 3s.

Attending Clippers camp

As per recent reports, Rodman Jr. will be attending the summer league camp of the LA Clippers.

This is exciting news for the young lad, who, if deserving enough, could end up being mentored by Ty Lue and Kawhi Leonard.
