‘Assassin’ Michael Jordan warned opponents before dropping 60 points, reveals Dominique Wilkins

Michael Jordan has been one of the greatest players to grace the NBA. To this day, many talk about his greatness and the aura that he possesses in and around the sport. Notably, former NBA player Dominique Wilkins shared an intriguing story regarding the NBA legend.

In a recent interview with the Jaxxson Podcast, Wilkins recounted one of his most memorable interactions with Jordan. He compared the Chicago Bulls great to an assassin on the floor. He recalled an instance when Jordan entered their locker in Chicago to give them a firm warning. Wilkins said he was taken aback by Jordan’s greatness on that particular day.

Jordan was an assassin. He did something that I've never had anybody do. He walks into our locker room with a suit and tie. I'm thinking that maybe he's going to the training room, but he walks by me and gets to Randy Wittman and taps him on the shoulder and he says 'Lace 'em up it's gonna be a long night!'...he had 60 that night.
