Anthony Edwards Savagely Reminds Kevin Durant of Viral NBA Lowlight

Anthony Edwards and Kevin Durant formed quite a bond during their time together in Paris, representing the United States in the 2024 Olympics. Both superstars played a key role for Team USA as they went on to dominate the tournament en route to a record 17th gold medal in the Summer Games.

On Tuesday, September 10, Edwards decided to have some fun on social media at the expense of Durant. The Minnesota Timberwolves guard came across a highlight-reel play featuring himself crossing over Durant during a game between the Wolves and the Phoenix Suns.

In true Anthony Edwards fashion, the 23-year-old decided to troll KD by sharing the video and tagging Durant in his post.

For good measure, Edwards even added two dancing emojis to his caption to insinuate that he had the former NBA MVP dancing with his dazzling dribbling display.

While the crossover was nice, the best part of the clip has to be Edwards viciously talking trash to Durant as both players made their way to the opposite end of the floor. Clearly, Edwards relishes the opportunity to test himself against some of the biggest superstars in the game — and he’s not afraid to let them know whenever he gets one over them.

Here is the full clip in all its glory, including Edwards’ (supposed) NSFW message towards KD.

You can also see Durant with a big smile on his face as Edwards talked smack to him. The Suns veteran knew his younger counterpart got him there, and he quickly came to terms with the fact that Edwards’ highlight was going to be a major lowlight for him.

The good news for NBA fans is that the Timberwolves and the Suns are both in the Western Conference, which means that we all get to see these two stars battle it out on the court multiple times during the regular season. Just like last term, these two championship-seeking sides could cross paths in the playoffs as well, which will make the competition between Edwards and Durant even more intense.
