Anthony Davis is looking forward to seeing the father and son duo of LeBron James and Bronny James see action in the 2024-25 NBA season.
Los Angeles Lakers fans are excited for the upcoming season with all the hype surrounding their team.
The Lakers are fielding a new coach in former player and media personality JJ Redick and have new faces on their roster, including Bronny James.
The franchise has high hopes for Bronny, the son of LeBron James who was selected by the Lakers with the 55th pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. One of those looking forward to seeing him play with his dad is teammate Anthony Davis.
“It’s still surreal to me that he’s on the same team as his dad. And I get to be a part of it and witness each and every practice, each game, each moment that they have for at least his first year,” Davis said on NBA Media Day.
“I can’t wait till they step on the floor together and officially make history. But it’s been super dope to watch so far.”

In a separate interview, LeBron said he is relishing the chance to be part of his son’s NBA journey and witness his growth.
“Just pure joy, to be honest,” LeBron said about playing with Bronny. “To be able to come to work every day, put in the hard work with your son every day, and see him continue to grow.”
The Lakers had a 47-35 record in the previous season. They qualified for the playoffs as the 7th seed but lost to the Denver Nuggets in the first round, 1-4
