Anthony Davis had a lot to say about witnessing LeBron take on Bronny during Lakers’ scrimmages, and he didn’t hold back his feelings.
All eyes in the basketball world are glued to the father-son dynamic between LeBron James and his son Bronny. Ever since the Los Angeles Lakers selected Bronny James 55th overall in the 2024 NBA Draft, the strong media presence that normally follows LeBron has seemingly tripled.
LeBron and Bronny have already made history, becoming the first active father-son duo in NBA history. And the majority of the rumors swirling around the Lakers nowadays, is how they will handle LeBron and Bronny gracing the floor of a regular season game together for the first time.
Newly cemented Lakers head coach, JJ Redick, has already spoken publicly about preparing for this moment from an organizational standpoint. While there doesn’t seem to be a set plan in place, players, coaches, and anyone employed by the Lakers, continue to get pummeled with questions on how the LeBron-Bronny dynamic is playing out. Anthony Davis was the latest to make his feelings known when he spoke to reporters at Wednesday’s practice:

This is an unprecedented situation, and LeBron and Bronny’s teammates are learning how to handle the added media scrutiny on the fly. Luckily for players like Anthony Davis, who’s entering his fifth season with the Lakers, the added spotlight already comes with the (Lakers’) territory.

No matter how good of a career Bronny ends up having, or how many years he and dad’s careers overlap, LeBron and Bronny are certainly setting the stage for a monumental NBA moment.
