During a training camp practice this week, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes told everybody from his teammates to coaches, “I didn’t put my pants on.”
Although he was wearing pants, he forgot to put on the real pads that go under the pants to protect a player’s quadriceps and knees.
The Kansas City Chiefs decided to post a video of the amusing moment, which showed the three-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback telling everybody about his wardrobe malfunction.
Patrick Mahomes’s best comment was easily when he said, “Maybe he’ll think my quads are so big that they look like pants.”
As the video gained popularity, Brittany Mahomes decided to post the video on her story while making fun of her husband.
Brittany Mahomes posted the occasion on her Instagram story, humorously adding, “Sorry, I’m not there to dress you.”
Meanwhile, Patrick’s mother, Randi Mahomes, also gave her take as she added, “It happens.”
With pants or without them, Mahomes can step on any field and prove that he is currently the best quarterback in the entire league. He is coming off two-straight Super Bowl victories.
Patrick Mahomes Might Be Even More Dangerous In 2024
2024 will open a new era for the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense, but one thing that remains the same is Patrick Mahomes at quarterback.
When the Kansas City Chiefs face off with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Saturday night’s preseason debut, rookie wide receiver Xavier Worthy will take the field as a Chief for the first time.
With his speed, he is likely to unlock an even better version of Mahomes, as the team has been without a speedster since the trade of Tyreek Hill.
If his hands can catch balls like Hill, look out for the Chiefs and Mahomes to do great things again.
