Micah Parsons and his infinite hubris: If I’m in rhythm, there’s nothing they can do

Cowboys defensive back says he’ll have his best season yet

Micah Parsons‘ talent is not in doubt, but the Dallas Cowboys defensive end has gone further by saying that when he’s on his game, he’s an unstoppable player, and that’s what he said after practice at The Star in Frisco, Texas.

“I’m in rhythm now. The first few days [of camp], I hadn’t played in seven, eight months. [But now], I know my angles. I feel like I’m in Week 4 right now. I’m in the backfield all day,” he began.

“If I’m in rhythm, there’s nothing they can do. They might as well start chipping, sliding, or it’s going to be a long day here,” Parsons confessed in a clear sign of pride and confidence about his level of play and what he can accomplish with the Cowboys in the upcoming season that is about to start in a month.

Parsons’ best is yet to come

Dallas’ defence is considered one of the best in the entire NFL, and it’s Micah Parsons who is the key player who causes a lot of quarterback catches and stops of running backs behind the line of scrimmage.

“It’s all about angles,” Parsons said. “I love (pressing from different places). But no matter what, I’m going to get there.”

During the Dallas Cowboys‘ practice Wednesday, Parsons confessed that it’s not all catches, sometimes it’s important to lengthen plays to get a better result.

“Now they said they’ll just let guys in there to see where they’re at, because they have to see where they’re at,” Parsons said, referring to receivers continuing the play. “I’m just trying to make the team better, that’s all. But I feel like I’m in shape now. The first day (of practice) I was very tired. Now, my body has adjusted to it.”
