When Bradley Beal signed for the Suns in the offseason, a lot of expectations were pinned on him. Alongside Kevin Durant and Devin Booker, the Big 3 in Phoenix had a far-from-perfect season after crashing out in the first round of playoffs. Now during the season break, Beal is able to devote his time to his family and more importantly his kids.
In a recent video posted by the NBA’s X (formerly known as Twitter) handle, Beal is seen watching a footage. The footage contains moments from the past seasons where Beal received extra motivation from the sidelines thanks to his kids. “My boys, seeing them always court sided all my games is, it’s crazy how they wanna do it and I don’t push them to do it. These little guys, man, they keep me motivated, they keep me going,” said the former Wizard guard.
He further added, “They’re always happy, they’re always joyful. Like, you can just come home, you can have a bad game. They come home, they don’t care.”
Beal and his wife, Kamiah Adams have three sons together. Bradley “Deuce” Beal II, the eldest was born in 2018, followed by Braylen Beal in 2019. After their marriage, Braxton Beal was born in 2022. With the exception of Braxton, the other two sons are frequent visitors to the courtside seats in the arena and their cuteness often steals pre-game build-ups.
For Beal, his debut season has been a tough one. He lacked fitness during the season and only participated in 53 regular season games and averaged only 18.2 points. He even had surgery in the offseason and now is on the recovery trail.
Bradley Beal Had Surgery in Offseason
Bradley Beal broke his nose during a game against the Pacers when he took an elbow from Myles Turner. After using a protective mask for a few weeks he ditched it in late March.
According to AZCentral, Beal had surgery just after the playoff exit to realign the septum in his nose. With Beal failing to make the USA Olympics team, a long offseason is ahead of him and the 3-time All-Star guard will have enough to gather more motivation from his young ones.
