630 Miles Away From Portland, Ayesha Curry Pens Heartfelt Note to Stephen Curry As Warriors Star Enters 16th NBA Season

Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors are back with vengeance! Though the point guard will play without Klay Thompson this year, fans are elated that their team is all set up for the regular season to begin. This is Curry’s 16 season in the league and the ceiling is high.

As it happens, the Warriors regular season starts today and they’re headed to Portland in hopes of having a good start to the season. Just like the fans, Ayesha Curry is all charged up to watch her husband chase another championship trophy this year. She took to Instagram to let the 4x NBA Champion know she’s rooting for him.

Unfortunately, she could not be on the road with Steph and has to watch this game from her home in California, more than 600 miles away. Maybe the memories from the last season are still fresh in her mind because she decided to share a montage of Steph Curry highlights and attached a heartfelt message to it.

“Let’s gooooooo my baby! God is good! So proud of you,” Ayesha wrote and tagged her husband in the Instagram story. She re-shared Steph’s original Instagram post titled, “You know the vibes. Season 16 loading….” It’s just a usual video of Steph Curry being Steph Curry. Dropping three’s, making crazy passes. You know, the usual stuff.

Towards the end of the video, the GSW point guard had a special message for the fans. “Super excited to be back to figure out what this team needs to do to win. Just the challenge of putting all the pieces together. We got a lot of new faces and it’s going to be fun from day one. We say it all the time in training camp, it’s a way of thinking if you want to be great in this league but it is true for us more than ever. You know, everyday does matter for us to be able to figure this thing out,” Curry says in the video.

But coming back to Ayesha Curry, she’s quite family centric and her husband isn’t the only member of the Curry family that she’s invested in.

Stephen Curry and the siblings hit a crucial mark in their lives

On October 20, 2024, Steph’s sister, Sydel, turned 30 and this was an occasion that Ayesha couldn’t pass up on. While the GSW star got around to wishing her with just two hours left in the day, his wife was hours ahead of him and made Sydel’s birthday special with yet another special message.

She shared a collage with Sydel’s photos on her IG story with captions, “And just like that she’s 30!!! Happy Birthday, @sydelcurrylee I love you!” The 4x NBA champ on the other hand had a message of his own, though it came 22 hours late. “Happy birthday Flossssssss!! 30 on em!” Curry noted on his IG Story with a picture of his sister. Apparently, it was a Cowboy themed, all-girls party with drinks flowing “straight down the hatch.”

With this, the Curry siblings have hit their 30s and life might have a lot of surprises down the road. For Steph though, there might not be a lot of time to think about the unexpected things ahead of him because he has an NBA season to dominate. Can he do it?
