Minnesota and Los Angeles battle in final Wildcard game on Dakota News Now & KSFY Monday at 7:00 PM
Last week’s regular season finale at Detroit certainly had a playoff feel for the Minnesota Vikings.
The difference tomorrow night is that there will be no second chance if they come up short.
Minnesota’s Wildcard game will certainly be one of the most unique playoff games in NFL history thanks to the tragic wildfires in Los Angeles that forced the Vikings game with the Rams to be moved to a neutral site in Glendale, Arizona.
Though Minnesota won four more games than the Rams one of their three losses was a 30-20 defeat in Los Angeles back on October 20.
As in last week’s loss to the Lions, the Vikings offense stalled out several times and they were, in fact, their own worst enemy against the Rams, something that can’t happen anymore moving forward.
“We got a lot of opportunities to make that ballgame a different ballgame than what it was and we just didn’t execute. And that’s the thing that we can control and that’s why we’re still confident in ourselves. You control what you can control and some of the things that didn’t go right was in our control. So we’re still confident in ourselves.” Vikings RB Aaron Jones says.
“Great defense. Great coordinator. Really good scheme. Players they play really fast in that scheme and we’re just excited about this challenge.“ Vikings QB Sam Darnold says of the Rams.
Kickoff is scheduled for about 7:00 PM. You can watch it all live on Dakota News Now and KSFY!
