The quarterback has teamed up with Sotheby’s to sell a collection of his watches and sports memorabilia.
An auction honoring football’s GOAT is offering up a few GOAT watches.
Sotheby’s just released the full catalog for its upcoming “GOAT Collection: Watches and Treasures From Tom Brady” sale, and a few previously unannounced items are expected to fetch a pretty penny. Most notable is a late-1960s Rolex Daytona that could hammer down for an eye-popping $900,000.
“I’m not the first person to say this, but as you get older, you understand that time is everything. Where you put your energy is a direct reflection of your values,” Brady said in a statement. “I’m signifying a step out of my playing career, and recognizing that others will cherish these items the way I value the ones in my collection. This is the only time this will happen, so hopefully people will take advantage of the opportunity to put something so meaningful of mine into their own collections.”
The Rolex Daytona that Brady is bringing to the auction block is one of the most coveted vintage timepieces. The Ref. 6241 Daytona Paul Newman “John Player Special” rarely comes up for sale, as only a handful of this specific reference are known to exist. (The JPS moniker comes from the 1970s Formula 1 livery, and nods to the black and gold dial.) Brady was first seen wearing the watch at the beginning of the 2023 NFL season, and he also donned it when he was inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame.

Elsewhere on the watch front, Brady is auctioning off a Richard Mille Ref. RM65-01 with a skeletonized dial (estimated at $250,000–$450,000) and a Patek Philippe TBXII Grand Complication made in 1917 and sold by Tiffany & Co. ($200,000–$400,000). In total, collectors will have the chance to bid on 21 of the quarterback’s cherished timepieces.
As for sports mementos, Brady is offering up 20 of those items as well. Leading the way is a game-worn Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey from a 2021 game in which Brady broke the NFL’s passing-yards record and made his return to New England after leaving the Patriots. Estimated at up to $600,000, the jersey is—quite literally—a winning piece of sports history.
“Without a doubt, Tom Brady stands as the greatest in the game, with countless career-defining moments to his name,” Brahm Wachter, Sotheby’s head of modern collectibles, said in a statement. “As I handle this collection, I’m continually struck by how these items embody not only iconic moments in sports history but also a legacy of unparalleled excellence in football.”
Sotheby’s “GOAT Collection” auction will be held live in New York on December 10. Prior to the sale, fans can browse the items in a free exhibition starting December 5.
