Stephen Curry Congratulates Former NBA Rival Russell Westbrook

“I just feel like, you know, when you’re in a space and you feel good and it feels comfortable and safe, then you have the best opportunity to succeed and get your work done, Nina told Good Day LA’s Brooke Thomas.

Curry responded to such great news with a positive messge on Instagram. “Congrats Russell and Nina, aand the whole family!” Curry said.

Of all the heated playoff games, the 3-1 comeback perfomance of the Western Conference Finals the Warriors pulled off on the Oklahoma City Thunder stands out as the most pivotal; it possibly triggered Kevin Durant to contemplate the Warriors as a siutable team in his highly-documented 2016 free agency.

However, that’s eight years ago, and the two have since moved onto different situations.

Westbrook recently signed a contract with the Denver Nuggets, upon Nikola Jokic’s request for the franchise to sign the future Hall of Fame guard. Perhaps Curry and Westbrook will rekindle their rivalry in a 2025 playoff matchup.
