Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys: Key players, match-ups, odds and predictions

The Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens wouldn’t mind hitting reset on their seasons, and one of them can take at least a step in that direction in what looks like a toss-up game at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The Cowboys’ 15-game home regular-season winning streak ended emphatically when Dallas got whipped by the New Orleans Saints, a loss that looked similar to the last time the Cowboys were in AT&T Stadium in the playoffs against Green Bay. Their defense was as terrible as could be and now they can try to fix that against Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson.

The Ravens, meanwhile, lost in the final second for the second week in a row, this time on a late field goal to a Raiders team that isn’t supposed to be particularly distinguished.

That leaves both teams desperate for a victory, and the Ravens are a one-point road favorite. Kickoff for the FOX game of the week will be at 2:25 p.m. Mountain time.

A week after he virtually disappeared against New Orleans, Parsons has to figure out something this week. He’ll play a role in trying to slow Lamar Jackson.

DeMarcus Lawrence, defensive end

He’s another defensive player who needs to step up this week after a slow game against New Orleans, who largely neutralized his rush.

Ezekiel Elliot, tailback

The Cowboys expected some drop off in the run game this year as they transition into a new era, but they need more than 3.5 yards per carry and 28 yards per game from whoever is back there.

Baltimore Ravens

Lamar Jackson, quarterback

The perennial MVP candidate leads the Ravens in rushing and passing, but he hasn’t led them to a win yet.

Derrick Henry, running back

The Ravens’ big offseason pickup is coming off an 84-yard game against the Raiders and has to be excited to face a Dallas defense that couldn’t stop the run last week.

Dallas Cowboys injury report

TE Jack Ferguson is questionable with a knee injury. He didn’t play last week but is healthier this week. Defensive tackle Jordan Phillips has been moved to the injured reserve.

Baltimore Ravens injury report

Cornerback Nate Wiggins and linebacker Adissa Isaac are questionable.

Bookies.com: Bet the Ravens on the moneyline against the Dallas Cowboys NFL Week 3 game

Bill Speros writes: “This game is being billed as the Fox National Game of the Week. It’s more like the game of the weak. It’s also Tom Brady’s third game in row calling the Cowboys. By the 4th quarter, Brady himself may be ready to suit up. This game opened at Baltimore +1, it’s since flipped to Dallas +1 after the whipping delivered at Jerry World on Sunday.”

The Ravens are -113 on the money line.
