Kevin Durant’s Clear Message About Remaining Teammates With Devin Booker And Bradley Beal

Kevin Durant’s first season on the Phoenix Suns alongside Devin Booker and Bradley Beal didn’t exactly go according to plan.

The Suns finished as the sixth seed in the Western Conference, and they were promptly swept out of the playoffs in the first round by the Minnesota Timberwolves.

While Durant and Booker were excellent, Beal endured a rough campaign individually. Combine that with the team’s inability to consistently win games, and questions about the trio’s long-term fit together started getting raised.

That’s not something Durant is worried about, though, as he confidently stated that he likes the position Phoenix finds themselves in, despite the fact they fell short of expectations last season.

Sometimes it takes awhile for players to figure out how to play alongside each other, and that simply may have been the case for Durant, Booker, and Beal. And considering how talented they are collectively, expectations will be higher next year.

Considering the fact that they are still three of the top players in the NBA, the prospect of them getting on the same page is worrying. And if that ends up happening, the Suns will become one of the most dangerous teams in the league like they were expected to be.
