Kevin Durant, widely regarded as one of the greatest players in NBA history, will be 36 years old during the next NBA season. However, the two-time NBA champion is still dominating the league with exceptional skills.
Durant has played 16 seasons for four teams, including the Thunder and the Nets. He has averaged 27.3 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 4.4 assists in 1,061 regular-season games. He has been selected for 14 All-Star games, won two NBA titles, two MVP awards, and received Rookie of the Year and two Finals MVP trophies.
During a recent interview with Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports, Durant discussed how many seasons remain in his NBA journey and opened up about his future in the NBA.

“There are a lot of things to factor into why I want to (continue to) play the game of basketball or why I keep playing. And obviously winning every game I play is important, playing with good people, playing the right way.” Durant said.
Durant Sets Sights on More Championships
Durant mentioned that he wants to win more championships in his remaining career. He also noted that he played his role very well throughout his entire career, which is why he is good at basketball.
“Of course, I want to win the championship. Of course. I want to play well every game, like I don’t even have to talk about that type of stuff. But yeah, so it’s fulfilling getting up to play every day and whatever happens on top of that, it’s cool. I’ve been a role player, Well, kinda. I’ve always played a role. My whole career. That’s why I’m so good at basketball.” Durant added.
Durant mentioned that he can tap in and take over at any moment. He’s concerned about the number of minutes and shots he will get, but he simply adores playing the game.
“I can tap in and roll at any time. It’s about how many minutes, how many shots I’m gonna get. I just love to play the game. If it’s a good situation, if I’m still enjoying the game of basketball, my goal is to play this (game) till the wheels fall off, for whatever role that is, so we’ll see.” Durant continued.
Durant surprised NBA fans by visiting rapper Drake’s house recently. The 35-year-old forward was casually dressed in a sweatshirt and shorts and seemed to be enjoying himself while holding a drink in one hand and a football in the other.
