NBA veteran Eric Gordon has recently made a decision on his NBA future.
After spending the rest of the 2023-24 season with the Phoenix Suns, Gordon has declined his $3.4 million player option and will become a free agent, per NBA insider Shams Charania.
Charania also noted that multiple contending teams are expected to pursue the 35-year-old shooting guard.
Gordon is likely to join his fifth different franchise in 16 years.
The former Indiana Hoosier can still be a valuable piece in this league.
As Charania also noted, Gordon averaged 11 points per game and 37.8% from three-point range.
At his age, he might not be a starter anymore, but there are plenty of teams out there that would like to have his shooting skills.

The former NBA Sixth Man of the Year has never won a title and has never even made an NBA Finals appearance.
The closest he came to that was in 2017-18 with the Houston Rockets when they came to within a game or two of beating the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.
Who knows how much longer Gordon might want to play, but he is still good in his role as a bench scorer and defender.
Championship contenders like the Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, Dallas Mavericks and others should not be disregarded.
At this stage of his career, Gordon could be looking for a simple one-year deal, especially if it is coming from a contending team.
Eric Gordon is a player to watch this summer.
